  • February 2020 - Present

    Front End Developer @ Indochino

    Indochino's Ecommerce website and in-house retail applications: Adding new features, UI updates, Building new components, refactoring, improving performance (Lighthouse improvement from high 20's to mid 50's), adding new features and updating existing components, optimizing webpack etc. Debugging performance on multiple devices. Converting ecommerce website from adaptive to fully responsive.

  • April 2019 - January 2020

    Software Development Engineer @ Loop Insights Inc.

    Rebuilt Web portal in React (as the only Front end developer on the team). Portal's purpose is to view data visualizations, manage organizations, devices, etc. for users/clients. Was key part of UI/UX design decisions made in portal.


    Key features: User management (add, remove, delete users, reset passwords, etc.), organization management, creating reusable components using atomic design principles, creation of multiple data visualization components, testing components (E2E, unit and integrated tests), debugging cross-browser compatibility issues, digesting various APIs to populate Promotion builder, device management, etc.


    Technologies and frameworks used – React(ES6), Node, HTML5, CSS/SASS, Data visualization (using Chart Js), Serverless, AWS Cognito, AWS Lambda, AWS QuickSight (and other AWS console products), Testing (using Cypress), SQL, Gitlab, JIRA, Zentao, npm, yarn, MapBox, etc.

  • November 2018 - March 2019

    Intermediate Front End Developer @ Appnovation Technologies.

    Website development for various projects. Clients include Tobago Tourism Agency, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, and FTSE Russell.


    Duties included developing reusable components based on design mock-up’s and prototypes using fractal (a design system), integrating into Drupal systems, building an interactive Map with React to highlight key tourist destinations and css-grid system bug fixes.

My friend at 5kco needed his website launched - wanted something minimalist and bold to accurately represent his clothing company - the result can be seen below.

Other features: Back end website to update t-shirts sold physically for campaign, sidebar menu reveals partially on hover to show icons, on click shows text and icons.
